2. Map of major VNTRs of spoligotype 9 in England and Wales

The geographical localization of five of the most common VNTR types of VLA type 9 (spoligotype SB0140) representing 87% of all type 9 isolates.

For each VNTR type 50 isolates were randomly selected from the spoligotype database, VLA, Weybridge, UK; analysed March, 2005. Only one isolate was included from each herd breakdown.
